Job summary

Johnson Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated RN for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced ED, triage patients, monitor vitals and cardiac status, administer medications, and collaborate with ED physicians to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications include active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS within one year. The role requires compliance with safety protocols and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current TNCC certification within one year of hire.
• Current PALS certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in emergency department.
• Triage patients to determine priority of care.
• Monitor hemodynamics and interpret results.
• Perform and supervise IV therapy.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Ensure supplies and equipment function properly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines.
• Educate patients and families on care and pain management.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
