Job summary

Adventist Health in Clearlake, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the MedSurg and ICU department. This per diem RN position requires critical care exposure and a California RN license.

You will provide patient care across age groups, perform assessments, administer IV therapies, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred and MICN is encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least one year RN experience within the last 24 months with acute critical experience in the last 12 months or EMT/ED Tech with at least 2 years in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• MICN desired within one year of hire.
• NRP, TNCC and CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments across pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer IV therapies and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain comprehensive nursing documentation and charting.
• Provide care in alignment with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
