Job summary

Baptist Health in Prattville is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time work in the Emergency Department. The RN will supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

You will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions and collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians. The role may include additional duties within scope and requires active RN licensure and BLS; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Perform patient assessments and plan of care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
