Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department. You’ll deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, 37-bed ED with a 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Virginia or Compact Multi-State).
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience in acute care preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire; ACLS/PALS/ENPC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely, safe care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with physicians.
