Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department. The ED has 37 beds, including a Behavioral Health Safe Suite, and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse community.

You’ll join a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting with opportunities for growth. Requirements include VA or Compact licensure, BSN preferred, and ACLS/PALS within one year.

Qualifications

• RN with licensure in VA or Compact state, and willingness to obtain Virginia license if not already.
• BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience in acute care settings (ER/ED/ICU or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver timely, evidence-based care.
