Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA, seeks Registered Nurses for the fast-paced Emergency Department (ED). The ED features a 37-bed unit with a 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite and handles 53,000+ visits annually, emphasizing teamwork, safety, and ongoing professional growth.

Ideal candidates have RN credentials with a Virginia or compact license; BSN/MSN preferred. BLS within 90 days, ACLS/PALS or ENPC within one year.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS or ENPC within one year of hire.
• New grad RNs not considered.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with ED nurses, physicians, and techs to deliver care.
• Maintain competency to meet specialty standards (ED).
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the Emergency Department.
