Job summary

The Registered Nurse Emergency Room position at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Denver, CO requires current Colorado RN licensure or multistate licensure, with ACLS/PALS within 30 days and additional certifications within specified timeframes.

The role involves delivering advanced patient care, collaborating with managers and hospital councils to elevate outcomes. Preferred candidates have 1 year of Critical Care or ER experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or multistate licensure.
• ACLS, PALS must be obtained within 30 days; NIC/NIHSS within 90 days.
• ENPC and TNCC within 6 months; NRP for pediatric ER where required.
• BCLS required upon hire; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide registered nursing care in the Emergency Room with advanced clinical competencies.
• Collaborate with the manager, hospital councils and nursing initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Rotate through service areas as competency allows and perform only trained duties.
