Job summary

Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services at the Nason Medical Center facility in Roaring Spring, PA. This full-time role features a 3x12 night schedule (7p-7a) with rotating weekends/holidays and up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program with PA license required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required or obtained within stated time frame.
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Emergency department nursing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and identify emergent patients; facilitate patient flow and hourly checks.
• Provide primary nursing care within a team throughout the patient stay in ED.
• Identify arrhythmias and intervene per protocol; communicate with physicians promptly.
• Demonstrate IV starts, medication administration and fluid management.
• Lead CPR in ED and participate in critical care transfers as needed.
• Monitor equipment, ensure safety and infection control within ED.
