Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking an ER Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, patient-first emergency department. You will perform rapid triage, stabilize high-acuity patients, administer medications, and monitor vital signs while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

You will educate patients and families, document accurately in the EMR, and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active license in/ eligible for Texas.
• Experience in emergency department or acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to provide high-acuity nursing care across lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and stabilize patients in ER.
• Administer medications and IV therapy.
• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs; respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families; ensure accurate EMR documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards; collaborate with physicians.
