Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, lead the nursing team, and coordinate with allied staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient care.

Required: MA RN license, BLS; ACLS/TNCC within 12 months; PALS within 18 months. Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
• RN - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
• BLS
• ACLS and TNCC required within one year of employment.
• PALS required within 18 months of employment.
• Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care as a team leader.
• Deliver patient-centered, goal-oriented care through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and guide the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional standards.
