Job summary

Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse for the Adult Emergency Department on a part-time night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

You will provide RN care to both adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume ED, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in staff committees while supporting change and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Board of Nursing exam required.
• CPR (Health Care Provider) certification required.
• BLS and state certifications as required.

Position Overview

Inpatient Registered Nurse – Adult Emergency Department, Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Part-time night shift from 7:00PM to 7:30AM, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide RN care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume emergency department. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in staff committees, and support change and innovation initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MD or BA, ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Successful passing of the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination.
• Current American Heart Association certification in CPR (Health Care Provider).
• Basic Life Support and other required certifications as per state regulations.
