Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Davenport is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department teams in Davenport and Bettendorf.

This full-time role offers 36 hours per week across three 12-hour day shifts, with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. The unit requires an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), Iowa RN license, BLS, and ACLS if telemetry is present.

Qualifications

• RN license for Iowa; IL license within 1 year may be required
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• Mandatory BLS; ACLS if telemetry monitored unit

• Performs rapid and comprehensive assessments
• Develops and implements emergency care plans
• Delivers timely and effective interventions
• Prepares patients for diagnostic testing, procedures, or transfer
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care

Schedule:

• Days- Split Shift: 07-1930 and 09-2130

• 36 hours per week, 3 (12 hr) shifts

• Every 3rd weekend

• Holiday rotation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in nursing required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Current Iowa RN license, IL RN license within one year required.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire

• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability

• Basic computer skills required
