Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking aRegistered Nurse for our Davenport/Bettendorf Emergency departments. You will work night shifts (12 hours) for 36 hours per week, with options for every 2nd or 3rd weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required
• BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license; IL license within 1 year
• BLS required; ACLS required if telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Strong language, math, critical thinking; basic computer skills

Schedule:

Night Shift, 1900-0730

36 hours per week, 3 (12 hr) shifts

Choice of every 2nd or 3rd weekend

Holiday rotation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, IL RN license within one year required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter - Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire
• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability
• Basic computer skills required
