Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Davenport is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Davenport and Bettendorf Emergency departments. You will perform rapid assessments, develop care plans, and deliver timely interventions in a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, is BLS certified, and has strong critical thinking and communication skills. This full-time role involves 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, IL license within one year required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter - Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three months of hire.
• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability.
• Basic computer skills required.

Schedule:

• Days- Split Shift: 09-2130 or 11-2330

• 36 hours per week, 3 (12 hr) shifts

• Every 3rd weekend

• Holiday rotation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in nursing required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Current Iowa RN license, IL RN license within one year required.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter - Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire

• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability

• Basic computer skills required
