Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift and ensure quality patient care. The RN will utilize the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and execution.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN licensure with BLS, and potential ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC depending on area. Regular full-time position with first shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Use the nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to plan and implement care.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the role.
