Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Two years ER nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• CEN certification preferred; EPIC EMR experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes; intervene early and advocate for patients
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and teamwork to improve outcomes
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through education and ladder opportunities
