Job summary

AdventHealth DeLand is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate care across physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, adjusting plans as needed, and educating patients and families. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance is required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with active license.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year acute hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
• Monitor patient progress, review and adjust care plans based on patient responses and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure informed involvement in the care process.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
