UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver and manage direct patient care in a dedicated unit, applying nursing process and collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

This full-time day-shift role offers increased hourly rates and a $9,000 sign-on bonus. MA license required; BSN preferred. Hours are 7a-7:30p; holidays every third holiday and weekend rotation are part of scheduling.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of a recognized school of Nursing.
• Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff.
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.

Mansioni

• Plans, delivers and manages direct patient care using the nursing process within a unit.
• Maintains assignment according to guidelines and communicates plan of care.
• Documents assessment, care plan and response to intervention per standards.
• Communicates with patient and family, coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacology and uses infection control practices.
