Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN triages patients, takes history and vital signs, and initiates life-saving actions in the absence of a physician where needed.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, implementing care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license required; ongoing certification eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/TNCC/PALS/ENPC often required within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, intervene promptly, and participate in care planning.
• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services per physician plan.
• Process orders accurately and update changes with follow-up.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to update and revise treatment plans.
