Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on nights for a 3:3 shift. You will provide planned, skilled nursing care for ED patients, monitor patients continuously, and respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and intervention.

Ideal candidates have RN license in Texas, BLS, ACLS, PALS within specified timelines, and strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians and staff. Hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS in required/within specified timelines.
• TNCC within 6 months; ENPC recommended within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values to staff and patients.
• Provides planned, skilled nursing care for ED patients and continuous surveillance.
• Responds promptly to medical/surgical emergencies with rapid assessment and intervention.
• Ensures care aligns with the Nurse Practice Act and clinical nursing standards.
• Maintains professional competence through continuing education and adherence to policies.
