Job summary

Baldwin Health in Foley, AL is seeking an ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. This full‑time role features 3x12‑hour shifts on weekdays, with a mid shift from 1pm to 1am, and includes a student loan contribution and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will provide patient‑centered care using the nursing process, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the health‑care team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure in state or compact state required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and clinical practices.
• Ability to document and communicate findings clearly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Documents findings and reports changes in condition to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
