Job summary

Texas Health Resources is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Cleburne, TX. The role requires strong ED skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work nights with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma, BSN preferred, and at least one year of RN experience, preferably in emergency settings. Must obtain BCLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and TNCC within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience, Emergency experience strongly preferred.
• BCLS prior to care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans care for the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Initiates information requests for patient and family.
• Maintains continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
