Job summary

Texas Health Allen is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role involves night shifts, 12-hour units, and PRN/as-needed coverage with weekends and holidays required. Candidates should have a nursing diploma or higher and be licensed as an RN at hire.

The department handles 70–90 patients daily and offers growth opportunities. Applicants with 1 year RN experience and ED exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required at hire.
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 1–2 years RN ED experience strongly preferred.
• BCLS certification required and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training completed within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire; TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
