Job summary

Texas Health Allen is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM and a 36-hour week, including weekend and holiday requirements.

Candidates should have a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1 year of RN experience. BCLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS are required or pursued within set timelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as registered nurse required.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days.
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days.
• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course upon hire preferred.
