Senior Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Acute Care

Essential Responsibilities

1. Lead emergency response efforts through expert patient triage and assessment across all age groups
2. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with measurable outcomes
3. Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining clinical excellence
4. Coordinate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
5. Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
6. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
7. Mentor junior staff members and contribute to departmental excellence

Required Qualifications

1. Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
2. Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
3. Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
4. Current BLS certification
5. ACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
6. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (to be obtained within 90 days)
7. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
