Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN – ER for Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. 12-hour flexible shifts, 36 hours weekly, 13 or 25 week duration, start 01/12/2027. Onsite role with no block scheduling and required holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Provide patient/family education and support during emergency treatment.

Flexible Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Title: RN – ER

Location: Christiana Hospital, 4755 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19718

Duration: 13 or 25 Weeks

Start Date: 01/12/2027 ONLY

Hours: 36 hrs/week

Scheduling: No Block Scheduling

Holidays: Required

Call: None

RTO: Maximum 3 Days; ALL RTO must be submitted upfront — no additions/changes after submission

Experience: 2+ Years ER experience required — No Exceptions

License: DE or Compact RN License in hand

EMR: Recent Epic experience required

Interview: Auto Offer (ER List A)

Unit: Emergency Department | 21–30 beds

Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4

Charting: Cerner

Patient Population: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric

Float: ED only; no floating outside Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity

Provide emergency nursing care, medication administration and ongoing monitoring

Respond to stroke, cardiac, trauma, cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest emergencies

Assist with moderate sedation, external pacing and other emergency procedures

Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition and escal... appropriate ?

Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Provide patient/family education and support during emergency treatment

Common Cases: Broad emergency presentations with limited EMS

Special Procedures: Moderate Sedation, Stroke/Heart/Trauma Codes, Cardiac & Respiratory Arrest, External Pacing

Submission Requirements: RN License # & expiration, certifications with expiration dates, full SSN, DOB & address #ERRN1
