• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360-$1460
• Scheduling: Block scheduling allowed; must be able to work every other weekend and holiday as needed

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or multistate compact license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification (ARC/AHA only)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the healthcare facility
• Strong clinical skills in critical thinking and leadership
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize the nursing process in accordance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in emergency situations
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Participate in block scheduling and work every other weekend and holiday as required
