ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (ER) for a 13-week contract in Tennessee. The RN will provide high‑quality emergency department care during 3x12 night shifts, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to manage critical conditions.

Requirements include 1 year ER experience, TN RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/CPI/PALS certifications, and EPIC charting experience. TNCC is preferred; travel and housing support are available through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience.
• TN RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications required.
• EPIC documentation system experience (1 year) preferred.
• Preferred certification: TNCC.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role requires expertise in critical patient care, effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and the ability to manage a diverse set of acute health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, managing a variety of emergencies.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for accurate patient charting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to determine patient needs and coordinate care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting best practices in emergency care.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing.
• TN RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system for at least 1 year.
• Preferred certification: TNCC.
