Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 20-bed facility in Carlisle, PA. The role requires a strong background in ED nursing, with day shifts on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7am-7pm) and full-time status.

Expect weekend differentials and comprehensive benefits in a small-format hospital setting. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), PA RN licensure, 2+ years ED experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and oral communication.
• PA Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed or obtainable before start.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient conditions.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients; participate in care planning.
