Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perelman Emergency Department, Per Diem (3p-330a). The RN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners, and ensure safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork are essential. The role requires NYS RN licensure, BSN, BLS, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health data clearly and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Prioritize patient care based on data and clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families about health status and plan of care.
• Document interventions and learning needs in the EHR.
