Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Macungie Neighborhood Hospital. This part-time day shift position provides professional nursing care with assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care per department policies.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• RN license or PA eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
• Orientation-specific training completed before assuming duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ED patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and facilitate transitions of care.
• Participate in performance improvement and use of technology in care delivery.
• Mentor and precept new staff and interns.
