Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am, 3-12 hour shifts) involves direct patient care in telemetry and rapid response to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC certificates within required timelines.
• CEN certificate preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and ensure EMTALA compliance.
