Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in Downtown, Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position with a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 for external hires.

The ED is high-acuity and fast-paced, requiring teamwork and patient-centered care. Requires 1–2 years medical-surgical and telemetry experience, RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS and ED certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse is required.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred.
• ED/Telemetry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or emergent conditions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Advocate for patient safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and meetings.
