Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity with a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 for external hires.

Providing care for emergent conditions, you will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and coordinate services with ancillary departments in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing experience required.
• Telemetry and hospital experience required.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.
• ASN required; BSN preferred; RN license required.
• ACLS required within 6 months; PALS within 1 year for specific EDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with emergent conditions.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Coordinate services with ancillary departments.
• Advocate for patient safety and outcomes.
• Participate in unit activities and meetings.
