Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Versailles, KY is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. You will report to the Department Director/Manager and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing and an active RN license in Kentucky, with BCLS mandatory and ACLS/PALS preferred. Flex shifts and ongoing education are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice and BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medications, specimens, and treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Provides education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular attendance and supports flexible shifts.
