Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (7p-7a) with Monday, Tuesday and Thursday workdays.

You will provide patient-centered care on an 11-bed ED, utilizing plan-of-care, documenting care, and collaborating with physicians and care teams. Required RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS; one year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 12 months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
