Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Perrysburg Medical Center. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ED, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and implement effective plans.

The RN will administer medications, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, and participate in care coordination across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS and PALS preferred at hire; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; recent ER/CC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications safely per practice standards and policies.
• Support a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and adapt to varied patient needs.

Education

Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing

Current RN licensure

ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire; ACLS and PALS required
