Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license or compact state equivalent required
• BLS required within facility policy timeline

• CPI required within facility policy timeline
• TNCC preferred or required within facility policy timeline
• ASLS preferred within facility policy timeline
• BSN preferred for advancement or leadership roles

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity
• Conduct age-appropriate assessments and reassessments
• Administer medications and manage critical drips
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures in the ED
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Document care, treatment, assessments, and education accurately
• Apply infection control and sterile technique consistently
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team for optimal care delivery
• Respond calmly and professionally in high-stress situations
