Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking registered nurses to deliver patient-centered care within the hospital setting. You will perform holistic assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will communicate plans of care using SBAR, participate in discharge planning, and provide ongoing education to patients and families. Strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and professional growth within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN or Diploma acceptable; BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BSN within 5 years is required; MSN/DNP supersede BSN requirement.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessment using the Professional Practice Model.
• Prioritize and plan care with patient and family; set measurable goals.
• Communicate care plan via SBAR and handoffs with the team.
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission and refer as needed.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Respond to emergencies with precision and clinical judgment.
• Maintain safety and infection control; use protective equipment as required.
• Document nursing process accurately in electronic medical record.
