Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care within our hospital setting. The RN will apply nursing science to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients and families, guided by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and ANA codes.

Responsibilities include holistic assessment, SBAR-based communication, discharge planning, and maintaining a safe, infection-controlled environment while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio
• BSN within 5 years of hire (for those hired after 2010)
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse setting

Responsibilities

• Performs holistic patient assessment across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Communicates the plan of care using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Initiates discharge planning upon admission and makes referrals as needed.
• Responds to emergencies with prompt, controlled action.
• Maintains safety and infection prevention in patient care environment.
