Job summary

Hudson Hospital & Clinic is seeking an experienced ER nurse to utilize the nursing process across the life span in a fast-paced ED environment. The role requires acute ER experience, Wisconsin RN licensure, and current BLS; ACLS, PALS/ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC are expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Minimum one year of recent ER experience as an ERT or RN.
New RN Graduate with 1 year ERT experience considered.
Current Wisconsin Nursing License required.
Current BLS certification required at time of hire/start date.
ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire/start date.
PALS / ENPC certification required within 3 months of hire/start date.
NIHSS required within 3 months of hire/start date.
TNCC certification within 18 months of Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) to meet the changing needs of patients across the life span.
Provide patient care in the Emergency Department setting.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
