Job summary

Baptist Beaches is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a part-time evening shift opportunity from 1:00 pm to 1:00 am. The RN will provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or emergent conditions and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include 1–2 years Medical-Surgical Nursing, telemetry, and active RN license with BLS; ACLS preferred. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 for external candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required).
• Telemetry Experience (required).
• Emergency Department Experience (preferred).
• Hospital Experience (required).
• ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/CEN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives.
• Uphold Baptist Health mission, vision, and values.
