Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments. You will collaborate with providers to implement care plans and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers under established nursing models.

The role emphasizes pain assessment, timely documentation, and patient education on conditions, treatments, and self-management while aligning with hospital standards and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• CPI Certification.
• A minimum of one year acute care Medical/Surgical/Tele RN experience.
• One or more years working as an ER RN in Acute Care Hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with care team.
• Assess patient pain regularly and manage pain with timely reassessments.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Promote self-management and healthy lifestyle changes for patients and families.
