Responsibilities

• The Director of Emergency Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the unit(s) and department(s) including staffing and budgeting.
• Forecasts, plans, and monitors budget while fostering accountability and collaboration to support facility objectives.
• Leads care coordination, policy implementation, and interdisciplinary communication to ensure staff with clinical competencies meet patient needs.
• Directs nursing practice and unit operations, developing policies and standards to ensure patient and family needs are met.
