Job summary

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department. The selected applicant will assess patients, plan, implement, evaluate, and record professional nursing care, as well as supervise and evaluate care provided by other members of the health care team.

This is a full-time, day shift position with (3) 12-hour shifts, 7:00am - 7:00pm. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certification required.
• No experience required if educational and licensure requirements are met.
• Must be dependable, flexible and committed to providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan, implement, evaluate and record professional nursing care.
• Supervise and evaluate care administered by other members of the health care team.
