Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in the United States seeks an RN to join our acute care team. You will obtain nursing history, perform assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will use the EMR system for orders and documentation, monitor patient responses, and participate in quality improvement activities. Requires BLS and an active RN license; ACLS/PALS/TNCC and other certifications encouraged within six months.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with state board.
• Two years of experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC and MAB certifications encouraged within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing care standards through adherence to policies and procedures.
• Obtains and documents nursing history from patients and/or families.
• Performs basic assessments and records vital signs.
• Uses EMR to enter and document orders and care plans.
• Develops care plans and communicates with the patient, family, and care team.
• Provides training and guidance to LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs as needed.
