Job summary

Stanthonyhospital is seeking a registered nurse to join our acute care team. You will obtain patient histories, assess conditions, and develop care plans; coordinate with physicians and families to ensure effective care. Strong EMR skills and teamwork are essential.

Requirements include an active RN license and BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, TNCC must be obtained within six months of employment. Prior Med/Surg or ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with state license required.
• Two years of experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document nursing history and vitals; assess patient conditions.
• Develop and update care plans; communicate with patients, families and care team.
• Use EMR system to enter and document orders and care plans.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as needed.
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CMAs and CNAs as assigned.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and mandatory trainings.
