Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting.

You will obtain nursing histories, assess patients, and document in the EMR system while developing comprehensive care plans with patient and family participation. The role requires an active RN license, at least two years of acute care experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and MAB within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• RN with state license required; Current license to practice nursing in the state.
• Two years of experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting, such as Med/Surg/Peds, ICU, or Emergency Room preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and MAB certifications within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents nursing history from patients and/or significant others; performs basic assessment and records vital signs.
• Uses EMR system to enter and document orders.
• Develops care plans and communicates goals to patient and family; collaborates with the health care team.
• Provides safe, therapeutic care; monitors patient response and reports changes to physician; maintains care documentation.
• Assists with staff training and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Participates in department quality improvement activities and patient education.
