Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a mission-driven care team. You will assess patient needs, develop plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety and quality.

You will apply the nursing process, document care accurately, educate patients and families, and advocate for compassionate, evidence-based practice in a Magnet-designated facility.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in state of employment is required.
• Physical requirements: medium work, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and observe outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts with accurate, timely documentation using IT systems.
• Promote and advocate for patient health and safety, respecting rights.
• Provide patient/family education based on assessed learning needs and effectiveness.
