Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an ER Physician to deliver immediate, high-quality emergency medical care across our Texas facilities, coordinating with nurses and specialists to stabilize patients and initiate treatment. The role requires clinical excellence, rapid decision-making, and strong communication with patients and families.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with options for Full Time (144 hours/month) or Part Time (72 hours/month), and must hold Texas licensure and an Emergency Medicine

Qualifications

• Completed residency in any specialty.
• At least 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience (an Emergency Medicine Residency may count).
• Active Texas State Licensure.
• PALS/ACLS/ATLS (BLS preferred).
• Experience in a free-standing emergency department or urgent care setting preferred.
• Experience managing multiple clinical sites and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Immediate Evaluation and Diagnosis: Assess patients’ medical conditions upon arrival in the emergency room.
• Administering Treatments: Provide urgent medical treatments, including performing necessary surgical procedures.
• Stabilization: Ensure patients are stabilized before further treatment or transfer to other medical departments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, paramedics, and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Diagnostic Tests: Interpret various diagnostic tests.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and families about diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans.
• Record Keeping: Document and maintain detailed records of patients’ visits, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in emergency medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities
